KrakkN

KrakkN is an independent heavy metal project out of Eastern Kentucky, built by Kevin Whitt (vocals, guitar, bass) and lead guitarist and co-founder Joshua Jude. Everything we do operates under the label 'A Human Wrote This,' and the foundation of every track is exactly that: real sweat, original guitar tracking, and handwritten lyrics. When it comes to production, we do use AI, but strictly as an editing and enhancement tool—not to write the music for us. We use these platforms for mixing, quality control, and filling out the sound with elements we don't physically have access to in a home studio, like massive cinematic layers or specific processing. It basically acts as our digital studio engineer. It takes the riffs and lyrics we already wrote and gives them a polished, massive sound.
